Envox is using a solution provided by Vistula Communications as part of its Voice over Internet Protocol project in Venezuela.

U.S.-based Vistula is supplying its V-Cube product to Vistula for deployment in a planned residential VoIP and IP-PBX system for business customers and a string of "Tele Café" call spots.

"Envox can now offer new compelling IP communication services that address the needs of Venezuela's vast Call Shop industry, in addition to the under-served residential and enterprise markets," Vistula Chief Executive Officer Rupert Galliers-Pratt said Monday in a news release.

Vistula said the Venezuela project was in line with its business strategy of providing products for underserved telecom markets around the world.
