Bubble Wrap owner seals deal for floor cleaning robots
Sealed Air Corp. is buying Intellibot Robotics LLC in a move to expand its floor cleaning business.
The Charlotte, North Carolina-based packaging company is paying an undisclosed amount for a company it says has been a pioneer in the artificial intelligence technology behind robotic commercial floor cleaning machines.
Sealed Air plans to make the business part of its Diversey Care division, which focuses on floor cleaning machines.
Sealed Air is known for making packaging products such as Bubble Wrap.
