Twitter has reached a deal with Google to make its short messages more visible on the Internet, Bloomberg said Thursday.

In the first half of this year tweets will show up with Google engine searches as soon as they are posted, under a deal giving the Internet company access to the flow of Twitter's 284 million users, the said, citing sources close to the transaction.

Google from now on will go to search information on the Twitter and the process will become automatic.

Google and Twitter engineers are now working on the project, according to the sources cited by Bloomberg, who said the companies reached a previous accord from 2009 to 2011.

Twitter, which has yet to make any profit and is trying to convince Wall Street of its growth prospects, is trying to expand its audience and generate more ad resources.

It said Tuesday it will allow its advertisers to run ads on web sites outside its network.
