The celebrities said they will stay off Twitter and until one million dollars has been raised for a charity called "Keep A Child Alive," the reports said.

The event is organized by R&B singer Alicia Keys who is the global ambassador for the organization.

Other celebrities taking part include Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Ryan Seacrest, Elijah Wood, Serena Williams and Keys' husband Swizz Beatz.
