The Fueltank from Callpod is one of those items that can be purchased for anyone for any occasion -- holidays, birthdays or just because you want one.

This is a portable that simultaneously charges two small electronic . Once fully charged, users can expect it to have more than seven times the capacity of most standard mobile phones.

The owner's manual states that it's able to charge over 2,000 of today's small electronic devices so I would guess yours would also work. I took the battery on a recent trip and it worked perfect for both my iPods, and BlackBerry.

The unit comes with a mini-USB and a coupon to get an addition free adapter at Callpod.com. Additional adapters are available for purchase to make the unit totally customized for your needs.

For those on the road, a car charger can also be purchased for charging in cars and on airplanes with equipped charging ports. The Fueltank only weights eight ounces so it's ideal for traveling.

To charge the battery itself just plug the included AC wall adapter into one end. A battery level indicator light in on top of the battery shows how much power the unit has left.

Once the battery is charged, connect the adapter for your device and charge away. Just like any other charger, your device should indicate when charging is complete.

The manual did answer something that I always wonder about with these types of batteries. It stated that the unit is made with proprietary voltage regulator technology, which senses the amount of power required to charge your devices.
