Mammalian Species

Mammalian Species is an academic journal published by the American Society of Mammalogists. Every year, the journal publishes accounts of 25–35 mammal species. The articles summarize the current literature about each mammal. The systematics, genetics, fossil history, distribution, anatomy, physiology, behavior, ecology and conservation of the species is described. The journal has been published since 1969. Over 800 mammals have been covered; over 750 of these accounts are available online.
