ISS crew prepares for a spacewalk

The International Space Station crew is preparing for a Monday spacewalk by station Cmdr. Fyodor Yurchikhin and astronaut Clay Anderson.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration controllers in Houston said the crew is configuring spacewalk tools and reviewing spacesuit systems for the spacewalk, which will be Anderson's first and Yurchikhin's third.

In advance of the August arrival of space shuttle Endeavour, the ISS crew has also been packing items that will be returned to Earth aboard the shuttle.

Anderson has also been practicing Rendezvous Pitch Maneuver photography with a digital camera, NASA said. The RPM imagery is taken of the shuttle's thermal protection system as it approaches the station.
