ISS crew gets ready to return to Earth

NASA says the Expedition 13 and 14 crews on the International Space Station are coordinating handover activities in advance of Expedition 13's departure.

Expedition 13 Commander Pavel Vinogradov, Flight Engineer and NASA Science Officer Jeff Williams are to end their six-month tour of duty aboard the ISS Thursday, returning to Earth with space tourist Anousheh Ansari.

Both crews were to hold a station change of command ceremony Wednesday, as well as a Thursday farewell ceremony. Mission Control in Houston said the Thursday ceremony will be telecast by NASA-TV beginning at 12:35 p.m. EDT Thursday.
