Briefs: Rogers adds push e-mail to Motorola phone

Canadian wireless customers will soon have access to Rogers Wireless' MyMail e-mail service on their Motorola RAZR V3 phones.

The two companies announced Tuesday that the venture takes advantage of Java-based push e-mail service that turns a customer's phone into a mobile office with the marketing advantages push technology offers.

"It is the ultimate combination of productivity and personal style," said Rogers Vice President John Boynton.

MyMail can be downloaded on to the handset and keeps customers synchronized with Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Domino e-mail programs.
