Nov 08, 2005

Sprint Nextel said Tuesday its latest high-speed wireless service will be available to about 150 million people by early 2006.

The wireless carrier said its Power Vision EV-DO wireless service will be offered in over 220 major markets, having been launched in July.

"The Power Vision network meets the remote connectivity needs of the mobile broadband customer and will help widen Sprint's industry leadership in the wireless data," Vicki Warker, vice president for business solutions marketing, said in a news release.
