Hong Kong coffee shop tops Asia hotspots

Hong Kong's Pacific Coffee Company ranks as Asia's top wireless hot spot, according to a new survey from Intel.

While the quality of the coffee may be a draw in itself, business travelers say the shop at Hong Kong Peak -- the city's leading tourist attraction -- is also tops in terms of Web surfing.

"A magnificent harbor view together with a cup of coffee and wireless Internet access proved to be the winning combination," Intel said in a release Thursday.

The Starbucks at Sydney's Circular Quay next to the famous Opera House ranked second followed by Suntec Convention Center in Singapore.

The 1,996 participants in the poll also favored Taiwan's National History Museum and the Great Wall of China for a combination of ambiance and access.

The best airport hotspots were in Singapore and Beijing.
