Fujitsu Siemens Computers unveils high-end multimedia notebook

Today at CeBIT, Fujitsu Siemens Computers presented a high-end multimedia notebook featuring an enhanced 17-inch widescreen Crystal View display. The new top-of-the-line AMILO M4438 comes with a high-definition resolution (1920x1200 pixel) screen for strikingly sharp, crisp and detailed images. Herbert Schönebeck, Vice President Consumer Business at Fujitsu Siemens Computers, says the first order of business at CeBIT is to recruit distributors for the new notebook, which will be available at the beginning of May.

Fujitsu Siemens Computers has used a GeForce Go 6800 graphics card with 256 MB of video RAM to ensure superior graphics. Schönebeck says this notebooks offers the best graphics available today, something particularly highly regarded by video fans and gamers. This incomparable high-end multimedia notebook has much more to offer, though. The instant-on function and built-in remote control, to name just two of its exceptional features, deliver the convenience that even today’s most discriminating consumers demand.

The new notebook boasts S-ATA hard disks, with some models even offering the two hard disk RAID technology that was previously the exclusive domain of mainframes and servers. Users thus have the choice of exceptionally high security or unusually fast disk access.
