Briefs: U.S. Gov increases wireless video orders

Law Enforcement Associates announced Monday an additional order for wireless video kits from the U.S. government.

The company said that the $657,000 add-on order pushes the total value of the contract to $1,759,000. Law Enforcement Associates Corp. is a provider of surveillance and security products to the global law enforcement, military, security and corrections markets.

Paul Feldman, president of LEA, said, "While we are not permitted to provide additional detail regarding this contract or the products involved, the order is a clear indication of the growing demand for our suite of leading-edge surveillance equipment from a broad range of government and law enforcement agencies."
