The Medical University of Vienna is a medical university in Vienna, Austria. Formerly the faculty of medicine of the University of Vienna, became an independent university on January 1, 2004. The Medical University of Vienna is the largest medical research institution in Austria and the biggest medical university in all the German speaking countries.
