Konkoly Observatory is the leading Astronomical research facility in Hungary, established in 1899, and currently hosting more than 50 scientists. It is a member institute of the Research Centre for Astronomy and Earth Sciences of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA CSFK).
