Electromagnetic fluctuation forces across plasmas analogous to so-called weak nuclear interaction forces

A new theoretical work establishes a long-sought-after connection between nuclear particles and electromagnetic theories. Its findings suggest that there is an equivalence between generalised Casimir forces and those that are referred to as weak nuclear interactions between protons and neutrons. The Casimir forces are due to the quantisation of electromagnetic fluctuations in vacuum, while the weak nuclear interactions are mediated by subatomic scale particles, originally called mesons by Yukawa. These findings by Barry Ninham from the Australian National University, in Canberra, and European colleagues, have now been published in the European Physical Journal D.

The study focuses on two perfectly reflecting model plates, separated by any non-zero density plasma, i.e. a charged gas which may contain electrons only or electrons and positrons. The authors extended the formulae for the Casimir force between these ideal metal plates to include interactions across a plasma and temperature, explicitly.

The ensuing formulae show that long-range electromagnetic fluctuations are qualitatively different from those across a . They also shed some new light on measurements of Casimir forces between metal plates, an issue that has long puzzled physicists.

In addition, the authors revisited and reworked the formulae for the original Casimir forces across a vacuum to correctly account for the temperature. At extremely small distances - also tantamount to very high temperatures - the formulae are equivalent to the effect of the force of an electron-positron plasma in the space between the interacting ideal plates, according to the study.

In this context, the mesons of the nuclear interaction theory become plasmons, which are collective excitations in the sea of electron-positron pairs in the vacuum. If the correspondence proves correct, the implications are profound for broad areas ranging from physical chemistry to nanotechnology.

I am concerned by the facts that
1. they have limited their analysis to the EM component of the Casimir force and ignored the obviously required strong and weak nuclear components, not to even mention gravity,
2. they have apparently ignored the linkage between the EM and weak nuclear forces as well, which has been known since the 1980s.

Neither of these apparent mistakes bodes well for this paper.

In AWT the vacuum in inhomogeneous environment and the space-time is formed with density gradient of this environment
and if it were real, you would have some empirical evidence from a reputable peer reveiwed source proving it, but you don't

i DO have evidence proving there is no aether with the following:

this proves there is no aether, & it does it to a very, VERY high degree of accuracy

which means all your speculative musings are based upon a false premiss and therefore cannot possibly exist, nor be legitimate

and you've never been able to provide equivalent empirical evidence refuting the studies, not proving your BS

this means that you are promoting PSEUDOSCIENCE

most of people today really have no idea, how the physics work
this is definitely true of you
otherwise you wouldn't support daw/aw
What's worse, they just dismiss and refuse every attempt for filling of holes in their understanding
education is a good thing
see: http://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm
PSEUDOSCIENCE, like what you promote, is NOT a good thing, and only leads to stupidity
contemporary physics cannot be understood in another way, than with high-level math
more empirical evidence that you have no idea about real physics

this is why people should learn real physics/science FIRST
because it allows them to learn correctly and not be taken in by the con-men out there like you

trolls don't downvite YOU, zephir
YOU are the TROLL and you push PSEUDOSCIENCE
when you get downvoted, it is by legitimate science knowledge
just like when I debunked you above
