Yahoo's latest import: online games from Zynga

(AP) -- Yahoo is turning to another one of the Internet's hottest startups to enliven its website.

Hoping to end a three-year financial funk, Yahoo plans to entertain its users with some of the most popular online games, including "Farmville," "Mafia Wars" and "Fishville." They're all made by Zynga, a rising online star that has been distributing its games primarily on Facebook.

The Zynga games should be available on Yahoo in the next few months, the companies said Wednesday.

Although Yahoo boasts one of the Internet's largest audiences, people increasingly are spending more of their time on social and communications services such as , and Zynga. is responding by importing content from all three of those sites.
