Apple said the new Nvidia GeForce 320M graphics processor in the 13-inch MacBook Pro gives it up to 80 percent faster graphics.

The 13-inch models feature Intel Core 2 Duo processors and 10 hours of battery life, the Cupertino, California, company said in a statement.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro ranges in price from 1,199 dollars to 1,499 dollars.

The company behind the Macintosh computer, iPod, and said the new 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro models feature Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and "are up to 50 percent faster than the previous systems."

"The new MacBook Pro delivers both performance and efficiency," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide product marketing.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro costs between 1,799 dollars and 2,199 dollars. The 17-inch MacBook Pro costs 2,299 dollars.
