RSA launches secure real-estate solution

RSA Security has a new solution on the market that provides strict security for sensitive real-estate data.

The New England tech firm said its Security Real Estate Solutions product allows online access to multiple listings and other information only to authorized users through a random password, which changes every 60 seconds.

The system requires authorized users to have a personal password as well as a small "token" that fits on a keychain and changes its six-digit passcode every minute.

"Because users provide something they know (their password) and something they have (the token's random passcode), the system ensures data are available only to authorized users," RSA said in a news release.

RSA has joined forces with real-estate IT firms Solid Earth and planetRE to offer the security service to real-estate companies beginning this weekend at the REALTORS Expo in San Francisco.
