Researchers seek farmers' market consumers for mobile app survey

June 24th, 2015 Katie Wright

Researchers in the Food Science Department are conducting an online survey of people who shop at farmers' markets for the Farmers' Market Food Safety Program, a project funded by the USDA's National Institute for Food and Agriculture.

One of the objectives of the program is to create a farmers' market mobile application for consumers to use to get information on local markets, vendors, and produce. The survey will help researchers determine what consumers would like to see or would find useful in a farmers' market mobile app.

The survey, which has been approved by the university's Institutional Review Board, can be found at uark.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_4T6ZgGRwfQ4gVyR
