HAVAS LYNX bag a brace at the PM Awards

HAVAS LYNX kicked off the year in style, celebrating two winners and six awards in total at the PM Society Awards in London on Friday. The PM Society awards are widely regarded amongst the most prestigious in the sector, this year boasting entries from over 55 agencies and 70 clients.

LYNX collected 2 golds, three silvers and a bronze for their work in a range of disciplines, from disease awareness to animation. Moreover, it was a successful night for the wider HAVAS network in general, receiving five gold awards in total and recognised with at least one award in half of the categories.

David Hunt, CEO of HAVAS LYNX Europe, reflected on a positive start to the year: 'It's a great way to begin 2015, reflecting on some of the agency's most creative and thoughtful work from last year. We're underway with some really exciting projects already this January, and the body of work showcased at the PM Awards sets us a tremendous benchmark to aim for in the coming months.'

LYNX's first gold came in the Sales Aid category for their Synagis eDetail (AbbVie), an RSV immunisation for vulnerable preterm babies. Senior Account Manager Anna Scott discussed the impact the sales aid has had:

'We're especially pleased with the Sales Aid because of the tremendous response it's received from the field force. The central creative tells the story of a premature baby's struggle for life through the eyes of the infant. Since launch, we've had a lot of feedback reporting that the unusual perspective and emotional messaging have really resonated with professionals. It's giving them pause for thought, and provoking them to seriously consider the implications of the treatment, which is ultimately our aim.'

LYNX's other gold winning entry was in the Corporate Communications category. Creative Director Jon Chapman was pleased to see the campaign's wit and playfulness receive top honours:

"The campaign was born from an insight of how annoying people found it to use the existing systems. It seemed like an obvious, simple but brilliant idea to play on these frustrations and shoot it in slow motion to create something quite elegant. The team loved working on the project so it's great to see this piece of work rewarded."
