Briefs: Yahoo!'s webcast of Howard Stern booms

Yahoo! said Wednesday over 4.4 million people went online to watch video streams of its Howard Stern webcast on Dec. 16.

The Internet search engine accompanied the radio personality after his final day on the FM airwaves. From next year, Stern will be hosting a show with satellite radio group Sirius.

Yahoo! captured footage of Stern on a double-decker bus in New York and followed him to a party at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square.
