Fujitsu offers clearer broadband viewing

Fujitsu has developed a Voice over Internet Protocol system that allows clear sound and visual reception even at peak hours, a daily said Thursday.

The Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported that the Japanese electronics group has developed a VoIP technology that will improve the reception of telecommunications on personal computers.

The company is planning to make the technology available by next year to subscribers who pay an additional fee. The added function will enable computer users to get guaranteed high-resolution film viewing, among other features, the Nikkei said.
