Tropics cooled by volcanic eruptions, says study

The Reventador Volcano erupting
The Reventador Volcano erupted in November 2008 in Reventador, some 90 km northeast of Quito, Ecuador. Volcanic eruptions have periodically cooled the tropics over at least the last 450 years by spewing out particles that girdle the world at high altitude and reflect sunlight, according to a study released Sunday.

Excuse me but don't the SOx droplets sit high in the atmosphere? Any light reflected by this would not be available for CO2 induced global warming thereby strengthening the link.

Are we expected to take statements like this prima facia? No evidence supports this amazingly bold statement, suggesting the combustion gases of burning fossil fuels are THE major climate altering force on planet earth.

If this were a truly rational report of climate science, the effects of the millions of tons of CO2 that this volcanic eruption released would be calculated, but it is not (strangely). I can only surmise that this "oversight" is another indication that all climate-related media is designed to form the illusion that humans are responsible for all climate change, and the solution is the control and supression of human activity. Of course, the means to such suppression is totalitarianism, disguised as "conservation".

This whole story is nothing but unrepentant balderdash, designed not to educate or even inform, but to "catapult" the "climate crisis" to the levels of hysteria needed to affect ideological "re-education" in the ignorant populations of the western world.

Beware those who ring the alarm on man-made climate change, they are concealing a malicious agenda that should be neutralized as quickly as we are able.

I am old enough to remember the attempt at scaring everyone into believing that man's burning of fossil fuels was going to cause an ice age by the middle of the 21st century. Yep, late 70's that was the first try by the anti-trade, anti-capitalist media / university cabal to destroy or reign in western industrial society by climate scare mongering. The culprit was of course carbon causing more cloud cover and more reflected sunlight. Back then of course, no internet and no 24 hour news networks so that plan petered out.

Just remember in 30 years from now when they are on to the next big scare, probably some kind of cancer or mutation kick (energy consumption will kill us all somehow!) that these people are nothing but the dregs of humanity, unable to compete in the real world and intellectually bankrupt.
