Ness Technologies makes Outsourcing 100

Global IT provider Ness Technologies announced over the weekend it will be included in a list of the world's top outsourcing service providers.

The Global Outsourcing 100 list, compiled annually by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, will appear in an ad in the April 3 issue of FORTUNE Magazine.

"The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals is pleased to recognize Ness Technologies as one of the world's top outsourcing service providers for 2006," Michael F. Corbett, executive director of the IAOP, said, according to a Ness statement. "Selection ... was based on a rigorous application process (focused) on the critical factors for long-term outsourcing success."

"It is a great honor for Ness to be recognized by IAOP as one of the world's top outsourcing service providers," said President and Chief Executive Officer Raviv Zoller in the company statement.

The company said it "offers end-to-end business solutions designed to help clients improve their competitiveness and effectiveness." Ness' operations include centers in the Indian cities of Bangalore, Bombay (Mumbai) and Hyderabad, as well as in Israel, the Czech Republic, Romania and Slovakia.

These centers are home to outsourced research-and-development centers for over 20 independent software vendors, along with IT R&D activity, the company statement said.
