In Brief: AT&T reports expanded Euro WiFi capability

AT&T expanded its WiFi coverage to more than 18,000 hot spots in Europe and Israel.

The expansion announced Monday was carried out in concert with WeRoam, a Swiss company that aggregates roaming and mobility management solutions.

WeRoam allows AT&T's wireless service to work with regional service providers in several countries, including Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Ireland, Switzerland and Israel. The alliance also facilitates AT&T in Japan, Taiwan and Brazil.

AT&T said in a news release that the overseas connectivity was a good selling point for its business customers.
