Briefs: Treasury launches anti-ID-theft DVD

The U.S. treasury secretary will launch a DVD on identity theft and how consumers can protect themselves, the Treasury Department said Monday.

John Snow will be launching the DVD Jan. 26 to provide people with information on how to recognize identity theft, how they can protect themselves, and what to do should they become victims.

Entitled "Identity Theft: Outsmarting the Crooks," the DVD features experts from the public and private sectors.
