Scientists say a skeleton found beneath the wreckage of a medieval ship in Wales have been found to be those of an Iron Age man.
The sailing vessel was discovered in 2002, along the banks of the River Usk in Newport, south Wales, during the construction of the city's Riverfront theatre and arts center, icWales reported Monday.
The remains have been radio carbon-dated to 170 B.C.
About 1,500 years older than the ship, the skeleton was found underneath wooden struts supporting the 15th century vessel during its excavation.
